Inauguration ceremony of the new Boris Taslitzky Studio, Montrouge 7th April 2013

french flag After my father's death in 2005, I had to give back to the City of Paris the studio rue Ricaut, in which he spent many years.
This raised the question : which place could I find to store, preserve and exhibit his paintings? After an temporary and unsatisfactory arrangement, I am happy to have finally found, through the help of Denis Perus, one of my father's old student, to whom he was very close, a Montrouge studio which fulfils my expectations for an exhibition space - one that hopefully, my father would have liked too.
In this studio, paintings and drawings can be exhibited in the best conditions, and be fully appreciated.
It was on April 7th 2013 that this new space was inaugurated : « Boris Taslitzky Studio » .
Several friends, art historians, accepted to participate in the inauguration along with the spontaneous contributions of others who were particularly close with my father.
I would like to thank them all.
Thanks to Isabelle Rollin-Royer and Jean-Francois Cornuet, this event has been recorded, so that those who could not attend the event can watch it on the website. I am incredibly grateful to them for this initiative.
